The Seat cushions are produced in the southern part of Persia. They are made from Kelim rugs that are between 20 and 50 years old. The Kelims used for the seat cushions are hand woven rugs crafted with a special weaving technique, which gives the rugs a thinner, felt-like quality. The Seat cushions are naturally coloured. The Kelims used for these seat cushions are woven in southern Persia. The colours are natural and no two cushion covers are alike. The seat cushions are made of Kelim rugs that are often 30-50 years old. It can be rugs that have been beyond repair, and have therefore been cut into smaller pieces and used for cushion covers, seat cushions and patchwork.
